Phil Glaser

Founder & Chairman

Phil Glaser is an internationally recognised specialist in large-scale organisational transformation, with more than 30 years of practice working directly with CEOs and senior executives across South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia.

An organisational psychologist by training, Phil combines deep thought leadership in neuroscience with decades of applied experience helping leaders maximise their individual, team and organisational performance. His work sits at the intersection of culture, leadership and competitive advantage — grounded in the belief that transformation begins when leaders genuinely change, not just when organisations reorganise.

Phil’s career spans public and private organisations across four continents, working with the most senior leaders at moments of genuine consequence. His practice draws on a strong evidence base in neuroscience to help leaders understand not only what to change, but why the change has not happened yet — and what it will actually take.

Phil founded Sodia on the conviction that the intangible assets of an organisation — leadership, purpose, mindset and behaviour— are not soft factors. They are the determinants of competitive advantage. His work has demonstrated this across industries and geographies for three decades.

Phil’s commitment to helping leaders maximise their performance extends beyond the commercial context. He brings a lifelong interest in the intersection of psychology, human potential and social transformation — interests that were first tested and deepened through his earliest work in post-apartheid South Africa.

His passion for developing people runs through everything he does, personally and professionally.
